The implementation of Atlantic Global’s Business Solution involved successfully aligning a large investment organisation’s Commercial IT Division with the overall corporate strategy. The result was that “only 25% of resources available were using the application, not giving an accurate picture of their resource capabilities.” In addition this disparate and inaccurate data resulted in a lack of ability to predict, manage and report on resource availability, project cost and staff effort

They achieved this by rolling out Atlantic Global’s Business Solution Time and Expense Tracking, Planning and Resourcing capability together with Business Information Tracking.The implementation gave executive and IT management a real-time view of which projects, regardless of priority, were being implemented in the organisation and an accurate reflection of the resource, cost and staff status. This allowed executive decision-makers to understand how IT investment was being spent, how to eliminate duplicate efforts and how to identify which projects could be removed, all of which ensured the accurate recharge of costs to internal clients.
