Atlantic Global is a software house that has been selling solutions which address business problems for over 14 years. This activity is complemented by the provision of in house consultancy and support services. Atlantic Global is currently working with a number of Blue Chip enterprises (Norwich Union, Barclays, Virgin Mobile, LogicaCMG) as well as Local and Central Government.
The Atlantic Global Software Solution set runs from a single data source and is fully integrated between functional modules. The Company's flagship software module is branded Corporate Vision (CV), and delivers Programme and Portfolio management tools for project focused organisations. Corporate Vision has been developed with industry leaders in the IT and service sector, and is specifically designed for rapidly changing projects and programmes, which run in service-based environments.

Many competitor solutions are very project-data heavy at all stages of the project (IT Department centric), which creates an inaccurate and unmanageable view of a business project portfolio. Corporate Vision takes the idea of resources (mainly people), projects, time and money and makes it possible to get a real time view of your business. Rather than viewing every little detail about each of these business criteria, which other task based planning and resource or financial management systems attempt to do.
Corporate Vision lets you take a business level view of your information which is recorded day to day by the people and systems in your business and gives you a real-time update of resources, projects, budget and time. Dashboards (online live reporting) have been designed with the above in mind giving role-based views of the business actual as well as up to date historic information; this can be rolled up and down through business specified / defined levels set within the system. One key dashboard is the Current Position dashboard, which allows users to update portfolios based on historic data plus real time actuals giving the most up to date view of project progress, performance and likely outcome.
Through customer and analyst reviews of our software, the main areas of functionality that differentiates Corporate Vision above its competitors in the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) space include:
- Dashboard functionality not only allows you to view and drill down into your business looking at each level (team, department, project, programme up to 10 levels) but also gives fast access to entry points to record time, manage resources or access portfolio and programme tools;
- Resource management (Resource levelling, skills search, real time visibility, supply and demand resource management);
- Project management through milestone tracking rather than purely task based planning. (Although the ability to import task based plans to build projects and scenarios initially) is available;
- Time management system, which is built as the foundation for the system. This ideally suits service based organisations and has been designed to manage the needs of large enterprises.
