A major advantage of the new project planning functionality in the Atlantic Global Solution Version 4.2 is the new drag and drop functionality. Using a mouse users can easily add tasks, move tasks, increase or decrease a tasks duration and specify dependencies between tasks.

Carrying out a Project Review
The Project Review screen is used to analyse and update the current status of a selected project. In order to use the project review screen, the project must be flagged as having actuals tracked against either tasks or assignments. This will ensure you can see your Planned Effort vs. Actual Effort.

Using the Project Plan View (Pre-Version 4.2)
The Project Plan view is designed to enable you to create all of your project plans through a simple and easy to use interface. The project plan view will display all of the tasks and summary tasks for the project, along with an overall summary task for the project. For each task users can view the start and end date, the planned effort, dependencies and whether any resource assignments exist.

The Project Plan Quick Entry View is designed to enable users to easily manipulate all project tasks in a single view. The Project Plan Quick Entry View enables users to directly amend the task description, status, effort, allocation, start date, end date and any dependencies. Users can also assign resources directly in the Project Plan Quick Entry View.
