Outsourcing has 'experienced maturity'

A new report into the growth of outsourcing has found that the process has matured over the last few years.

Companies are regularly outsourcing programs such as timesheet software from a market which is full of "blossoming potential", ReportLinker has stated, highlighting the need for businesses to take advantage of the savings on offer.

The report did however state that it has not always been a strong area of technology, highlighting how there was misplaced hype in the late 1990s before accessibility and data transfer abilities were able to bring it up to an acceptable standard.

Outsourcing the likes of resource scheduling and project management software is still described by the report as the next step for most companies advancing up the technology ladder.

John Yaggie, a software expert speaking to destinationCRM, said this week that now is the time to make this jump, as it may be more effective a money-saving technique than simply cutting staff numbers.
