Outsourcing 'could be boosted by broadband sales options'
Broadband is getting cheaper and yet businesses are not looking for the best deals, potentially creating bigger bills for those using outsourced programs such as resource scheduling software, it has been claimed.
BroadbandChoices.co.uk released a survey this week detailing that just ten per cent of broadband users switched to the best deal available to them during the entirety of 2008.
This did not impress product director Michael Phillips, who commented: "Broadband is in danger of becoming 'the forgotten bill'.
"We urge consumers to check they are not stuck on a legacy tariff with their current provider - if they haven't switched in the past year, then it's time to get online and compare current deals."
Mr Phillips highlighted the need to cut down on bills in the current climate, emphasising how very little effort is needed to make sure that no money is wasted.
This point of view was echoed by S Madhavan, an expert in outsourced software, who told the Hindu about how cloud computing is able to help firms get the most out of their financial and operational outgoings.
