SMEs should 'value CRM'
Customer relationship management (CRM) is a very important asset to find new business and this is what small businesses in the UK need to do, according to the latest poll by the Lloyd James Group.
The survey discovered that smaller companies are aiming to keep hold of the consumers they already have, while larger organisations are always on the lookout for new clients to deal with.
Despite this, the Lloyd James Group explained that this is not a great approach these bigger companies can be a major threat to livelihoods of smaller businesses which do not have the platform to do anything on a similar scale, though CRM may help with this.
"With both consumers and businesses looking to tighten their belts, every company stands to lose at least some of their current customers, so finding new ones is vital to surviving the recession," said Lloyd James Group client services director Daniel Linehan.
The Harvard Graduate School for Education this week revealed that CRM has helped it establish a presence with clients, customers and associates despite having a small team and limited resources.
