SaaS helps 'modernise' business strategies
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) can help bring any organisation's strategy into the 21st century, it has been claimed.
Following the uptake of customer relationship management (CRM) among Harvard Graduate School of Education, the organisation's director Kiernan Mathews claimed it had suited its small budget.
The resource planning and SaaS processes of other not-for-profit organisations have also benefited from CRM.
According to SaaS provider CRM Manager, the National Association of Olmsted Parks and Select Greater Philadelphia have also benefited from the software.
Commenting on the new Harvard CRM sytem, Mr Mathews said: "With a small staff and a budget, we worried that our data would forever be stuck in an obsolete format.
But with expertise from CRM manager, we found an efficient way to bring our strategy into the 21st century."
John Stokdyk, technology editor at publisher Sift Media, recently claimed that mobile CRM is becoming an increasingly popular medium for businesses.
