Recession will be 'fought off' by outsourced technology
Companies which use outsourced business management software are more likely to bounce back during the recession, according to a technology expert.
Phil Flaxton, the chief executive of Technology Means Business, explained that software such as resource planning will pay off in the coming months, particularly if it is used effectively with mobile platforms.
He explained that customer relationship management (CRM) is a great investment too, mainly because of the increased use of smartphone technology and other products easily available to consumers and businesses alike.
"Whether it's a retailer or a technology provider, understanding your customer and how they use technology is key," Mr Flaxton added, further emphasising the importance of CRM.
The expert added that consumers are becoming increasingly comfortable with new systems, particularly those which will benefit their purchases.
Companies providing integrated business and information technology are awarded accreditation by Technology Means Business, which specialises in promoting systems which further organisations such as CRM.
