Business management software adopted by NECC

An agreement to outsource software solutions has been formed by the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) so its services are made more accessible to the British public, it is said.

The NECC will have a customer relationship management (CRM) strategy upgrade in a deal with a local company, the Journal reported, which the organisation hopes will make it easier for locals to sign up for events, training schemes and offerings.

Consulting its IT, trade and human resources teams to ensure they are happy with the new enterprise business software, the NECC took everything into account to ensure the new technology would be used.

Head of systems at the NECC Michael Dawson said of the software implementation: "We look forward to commencement of the next phase of our project where we start adding the extras.

"Collaboration was the key to really delivering a product that was polished, refined and fit for purpose."

The NECC was created in 1995, putting its 10,000th learner into full-time employment ten years later.
