Businesses 'boosted through recession' by CRM

Companies investing in software-as-a-service (SaaS) programs such as project management may be able to move through the recession with more confidence, it is said.

Joe Cincotta, an expert writing for DynamicBusiness, explained that many people can be cynical of such technology, yet there are plenty of reasons why a commitment ought to be made with such programs.

He explained that through the use of such things as customer relationship management (CRM) in particular, the chance of getting a return on the investment in the short term is quite healthy, providing a business is committed to the change.

Mr Cincotta added: "For those yet to incorporate CRM into their business, the process can at times appear a little daunting but the resultant increases in productivity and better targeted selling means it will quickly bear fruit."

Speaking to Bizcommunity earlier in the week, Roger Strain said that if anything, a company needs to celebrate the successful implementation of CRM as is strengthens and solidifies a business' stance in the market.
