Project management software is 'very useful'
Project management software is a useful tool to have in the office, so long as companies understand what they are to get from it, according to an expert.
ComputerWeekly.co.uk revealed that at the very basic level, project management is able to oversee any schemes or plans within a company from start to finish, allowing for employees to give input along the way depending on their role and job description.
Furthermore, it can also take several other useful factors into account, such as cost control, resource allocation, communication, collaboration, quality management and budget considerations.
The news and advice resource also explained that web-based delivery of software is much cheaper than buying and maintaining the product in-house, as a lot of hidden or unconsidered costs such as upgrades and hosting space may be incurred.
Last week, SearchSecurity.com's Eric Ogren said that outsourced software is now generally accepted as a trustworthy investment, with the technology winning more people over each month.
