Enterprise software 'allows shorter weeks and supports flexibility'
Businesses which harness the power of small business management software will be able to adapt to the problems related to the current economic climate, it is said.
A report for ZDNet Asia outlined issues regarding the four-day working week, pointing out that through the use of outsourced services, businesses will naturally become more flexible.
James Loo, the chief information officer with the YCH Group who has adopted this strategy, told the publication: "The team already has the ability to work remotely and does not have to be on-site to attend to support issues other than actual physical hardware failure."
It was concluded that as long as the system used is robust and highly available to anyone in any location, a company stands to weather the storm brought about by the current economic climate.
This week, the Butler Group asserted that businesses will be able to get a lot of money back from outsourced software, so long as they work it as hard as possible.
