"Ultimate agility" gained from enterprise software

The use of small business management software such as time billing and customer relationship management has a lot of benefits in the current market, according to a report released this week.

In the Butler Group's recent study, it was concluded that the alternative delivery method of services which software-as-a-service (SaaS) provides the market with is able to improve the bottom line of an organisation.

Furthermore, it brings about major changes in the way companies carry out their trade, it was added, with flexibility and improved quality of services being available at a reduced cost.

The Butler Group's report concluded: "With the advent of development platforms, SaaS no longer means having to take what you are given, and with an architecture built for the Web and for integration, it provides a valuable adjunct to organisations looking for application technology to support business development."

Encompassing over 40 per cent of the top 100 companies in each of the Butler Group's key markets, the organisation has a strong standing in the market for independent research and advice.
