Better broadband deals highlighted to software users

A number of people are paying way too much for their internet connections, according to a new report, which may impact on the potential money savings for companies using hosted business management software.

Editor of Broadband.co.uk Edd Dawson asserted that there is a lot of money to potentially save following a little bit of research into other offers from providers..

"People that signed up four years ago will generally be paying the same rate that they signed up to four years ago", he explained, noting that "in general, costs have come down year on year since broadband came out".

This could see people paying anywhere up to three times the necessary charge for their service, which could severely impact on the cost savings yearned for by adopters of web-based solutions such as project management and online timesheets.

Half of British broadband customers have not switched broadband provider in the last four years, according to a report from Consumer Choices yesterday.
