CRM to be implemented by Chevrolet and Honda
Three new car dealerships across Texas are to adopt small business management software in order to improve sales in the region.
Greg May Honda in Waco, Greg May Chevrolet in West Texas and Orr Honda in Texarkana are to use a customer relationship management (CRM) system in order to get a better level of feedback which it believes will guarantee an increase in unit sales and profit per vehicle.
At the same time, it will lower operating costs through enhanced efficiency, the dealerships asserted.
Joel Ferrier, new car sales manager of Orr Honda in Texarkana, said the CRM system "was built by software engineers that understand the needs of dealerships and addresses each of those needs very effectively".
He added that the program allows the company to "more effectively manage our inventory and sales people on a daily basis".
Last month, Lexus announced it was implementing a similar initiative across a number of its dealerships in the US following a successful pilot of CRM in 14 outlets.
