CRM is a 'top investment'

Customer relationship management (CRM) is an indispensable tool which companies should always consider investing in if they are to put money into small business management software, it is said.

Darren Mercieca, an adviser for Business Link, explained that CRM gives businesses a huge insight into the trade they have done with customers in the past, such as buying patterns and a scope for offers and deals in the future.

As a result, it makes things much easier for those companies looking to approach customers in a better manner in regards to brand new products or services.

He concluded: "We are finding that at the moment organisations are feeling a lot of pressure in terms of turnover and are perhaps looking for news customers when in fact with an effective CRM process in place they could grow the business with their existing customers."
