Successes 'must be advertised' with CRM

When using CRM, successes must be advertised by a company if it is recognised as a good force, one person believes.

If a business is really going to be successful with small business management software such as customer relationship management (CRM), it must inform its users when it is successful, it has been said.

The comments come from Robert Poe of Focus.com, who continued to list the ways to ensure CRM is successful when used in the workplace.

He said that by reporting successes, staff may be imbued by confidence, particularly if it is a colleague who has triumphed through its use.

Mr Poe added: "In advertising success, it's important that the 'successes' be successes in the eyes of your audience. The sales force, for example, looks at success in terms of more and bigger sales. They're not particularly interested in better reports for managers."

According to Business Link, a government advice website, described CRM as a force of good in the office, though its implementation may take time and expense.
