CRM system helps guide dog users

To double its fundraising income in the next six years, a major UK charity is using customer relationship manager (CRM) to improve its connections to its target demographic.

Guide Dogs announced that its CRM business management software system is up and running in order to enhance working relationships and foster mutual respect.

Jane George, the project sponsor and director of fundraising at Guide Dogs, explained that the new CRM system is a great platform to operate from, simplifying a number of tasks which would usually take much longer.

"We're committed to expanding our services for blind and partially-sighted people and, in turn, we need to increase our fundraising over the next five years."

"We are planning to build even closer relationships with supporters and reach new audiences. We already have around 1.5 million contacts on our system."

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is the world's largest trainer and breeder of working dogs, with 21,000 blind and partially-sighted people experiencing independence through the organisation.
