IT outsourcing partner 'must be there at all times'
A business must ensure that a deal to get something like project management software is well-backed by the provider, according to a specialist in IT.
Martino Corbelli, marketing director at Star, told SME Web that without a strong level of support from their possible partner, a contract may not be worth as much as it seems.
So long as a dedicated team of highly-trained support desk personnel are available, as well as a dedicated account manager, an organisation stands to gain a lot from a deal.
The expert continued: "They take care of the day-to-day, tactical tasks so you don't have to.
"Remember this is a partnership and the managed services partner should be there to support all of your needs - you should be a name rather than a number."
