Bosses 'impressed by good timekeeping'
High personal standards may be aided by an investment in software, thus impressing people in the higher echelons of a company, it has been recommended.
In her blog with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), Nikki, the founder of My CV & Me, explained that by maintaining good timekeeping in day-to-day work, managers may be very impressed with performance, so long as a person is competent at it.
This may make many consider the benefits of online timesheets or time billing software, as this can give a full balance of accountability for the employee and encourage better standards with an organisation.
Nikki gave a couple of other pointers, highlighting how people should not ask questions of their bosses they can answer themselves, while investing time into teamwork and working on coming up with ideas to improve the quality of work within the organisation.
The CMI was created over 50 years ago and has more than 70,000 individual members and 400 corporate members who work together to improve business knowledge and expertise.
