CRM must be used to maintain 'strong and trusting relationship'
Using business management software to keep a major bond with customers may be the best way to stay afloat during these times, it is said.
Mark Choueke of Marketing Week explained that if an organisation does not maintain a strong and trusting relationship with its partners or consumers, then there's nothing to gain for them and it must be remedied, perhaps through customer relationship management (CRM).
He continued: "You may have the sexiest brand with the most fantastic premium positioning but if you aren't investing in a bond with each and every one of your customers, they are likely to see you as irrelevant."
Mr Choueke explained that brand-to-customer communication must be relevant enough to cut through hundreds of competitors they come into contact with on daily basis and must be specific enough to warrant action.
Essentially, marketing must show that dealing with the company can be done with ease.
According to the government's Business Link facility, CRM can increase sales through better timing through the anticipation of a client's needs based on trends, while also "identifying needs more effectively by understanding specific customer requirements".
