Bluewater offers CRM work to agencies

Bluewater, one of the UK's biggest shopping centres, is looking for a direct agency to handle its customer relationship management (CRM) facilities, it has been reported.

In a recent piece for Brand Republic, it was revealed that the huge retail provider is in need of an agency which is able to provide an increase in repeat visits to the building and attract new customers at the same time.

Land Lease Retail and Communites Group, the owner of the shopping centre, explained that the winning agency will be able to develop the online marketing side of operations through business management software, adding that it wants a particular focus on the mailing list of the organisation.

It is hoped that the corporate plan to extend its newsletters and other facilities will be increased with the opening of the partnering Westfield shopping centre, which is due to be opened in east London's Stratford in 2011.

Bluewater is the second-largest shopping centre after Gateshead's MetroCentre, with the space being in direct competition with Lakeside, which is only a stone's throw away in Essex.
