UK broadband gripes 'go unresolved'
Companies are finding that their issues regarding broadband are not being resolved by their internet service providers, according to a new survey.
The poll, carried out by Consumer Choices, found that 54 per cent of interviewees had not had their claim sorted out, potentially harming the delivery of their business management software.
Michael Phillips, the product director for Broadbandchoices.co.uk, explained that 36 per cent of people are simply not complaining about problems because they do not believe they will get anywhere by doing so.
He asserted: "We found a distinct lack of awareness amongst broadband users of the proper way to ensure their complaints are taken seriously.
"The results indicate that broadband users are disillusioned with the ability to improve their service through making a complaint to their ISP."
Broadbandchoices.co.uk is the UK's leading accredited broadband comparison calculator as judged by Ofcom and was launched in 2005, powering other engines such as GoCompare and Confused.com.
