Open-minded attitudes will 'benefit those using CRM'

Companies which are thinking of improving their software systems must remain open to new ideas and experiences, according to an expert in the industry.

MJ Shoer, the founder and president of Jenaly Technology Group, explained that while there is a lot of "shaking out" to happen in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry, it is hard to escape the talk about such things as project management and resource scheduling software.

He explained that whether you are a provider or consumer of computing services, it is very unlikely that you are not reading more about the provisions which the cloud can bring.

"As you do, keep an open mind, think outside the box and consider how you can best leverage the wide universe of technologies that are available to help provide services to your clients or help run your business," Mr Shoer asserted.

Hosted software is becoming widely adopted in the US by hospitals, in a bid to lower costs and, given that the American health care system is privatised, attract clients for health services, according to CRM Buyer.
