Sage: Middle East CRM spend to increase by 30% in 2010
Middle Eastern spending on customer relationship management (CRM) and other such business management software is likely to rise by 30 per cent in 2010, according to a new survey.
Sage Software made its assertions following a road show which spoke to a number of businesses from countries such as the United Arab Emirates.
Vikram Suri, the managing director of Sage Software, said that CRM can be remarkably useful in sales force automation, campaign management and contact centre or call centre operations, though its potential far outdoes any of these applications.
He continued: "For instance, core CRM functionality such as opportunity management can improve the effectiveness of the sales team while allowing the marketing department to focus on the most profitable customer segment."
Furthermore, Mr Suri emphasised how customised CRM solutions can mean that a "consistently exceptional customer experience" can be maintained while allowing the company itself to nurture profitable relationships with every customer they contact.
It follows a TMCnet report which discovered that businesses are increasingly turning to such systems as a means of cutting costs.
