CRM is 'perfect for creating universal system'

One man has spoken of the success he has had in adopting customer relationship management (CRM).

Adam Sokolic, project lead and vice-president of product management at National Retirement Partners in California, was forced to respond to the effects of the current economic climate on the fortunes of the company, meaning the cost-cutting which CRM could deliver was selected as the best measure, SearchCIO reported.

The firm was able to create a single sign-on CRM front-end for around a dozen applications used by its network of 400 financial advisers, meaning that everyone was standardised across the board.

With plans to continue investing in business management software applications, he added: "You can do more with less because [the SaaS model] lets you add features so quickly, and it's easy to develop for it even if you have a limited budget."

Recently, it was announced that the famous Super Bowl advert from Pepsi will not be airing this year as the company has found a newer direction through CRM.
