CRM is 'best investment for all business'
Those who adopt customer relationship management (CRM) and other such business management software will naturally have the advantage over their lesser-equipped rivals, according to a new report.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, Oracle's Alistair McDonald, the regional manager of the company's Northern Ireland interests, said that CRM solutions are centred on providing tools which can enable a company to improve its way of managing customers or prospective future clients.
He continued: "Any business not focused on their customers is liable to fail; CRM allows people to capture all their interactions with the customer, having the tools to analyse and therefore build the understanding of customers' behaviour."
Mr McDonald added that CRM software collects data from names and contacts to wholesale customer activities and must be accurate to deliver a good profile of the market, beating spreadsheets hands down in terms of feedback.
Yesterday, it was asserted by Outsourcery that SaaS could allow businesses to stay solvent.
