Cloud computing fans 'more likely to overhaul systems fully'
Enterprises that "accept, adopt and implement" business management software will be more likely to assess the overhaul and replacement of their core business portfolio of applications, according to a new report.
Experts from Research and Markets, as part of the research study SaaS / Cloud Rip-and-Replace Strategies: Five Key Considerations, said that this still does not mean that said companies will automatically replace their existing services with cloud alternatives.
It continued: "But once the acceptance of Cloud Computing occurs within an environment, there are a number of key issues that should be evaluated to determine the fate of traditional business applications."
The company has since issued a report for sale from its website to guide individuals through the transitional process, though many organisations interested should be sure to get in touch with their possible cloud provider to consider their options instead of going for a blind investment.
Recently, Seeking Alpha said that there are numerous economic and green advantages of clouds for businesses in the UK and beyond.
