Social media will be 'primary focus' of companies in 2010
More organisations harnessing business management software will turn their attentions to social media circles in the coming months, if they know what is good for them, according to an expert.
Darren Dutton, business director at Marketing.co.uk, spoke about the issue at Technology For Marketing & Advertising (TFM&A) 2010, which serves as the UK's only integrated marketing and advertising event.
In his TFM&A 2010 comments, he asserted that there is now a lot of focus on social media, and enough to note a major change over the past one to two years, highlighting how there is a new direction for business management software.
He continued: "In 12 months it will still be there. Other companies in other sectors, whether that be the financial sector or the construction sector, will maybe start tapping into social media to connect to their target audiences."
A large number of leading suppliers of data, CRM systems as well as digital and direct solutions exhibited at TFM&A 2010, which took place at Earls Court 2, London, on February 23rd to 24th.
