Online collaboration tools 'being driven by productivity gains'
The number of companies looking to roll out online collaboration tools is being driven by a variety of factors, those looking at business management software may be interested to discover.
Kunal Contractor, commercial manager at Huddle, has highlighted the fact that internally-facing tools often have a key role to play in boosting productivity.
He said that running applications across networks in this way can allow tools to be used which boost efficiency and allow processes to be rolled out across the organisation as a whole.
Rather than competing, both social media and private networks can be used in tandem in order to allow business management software users to maximise their returns from this technology.
Mr Contractor said: "[Social networks] can be used
as a corporate to engage with your customers. [Private networks benefit] B2B collaborations and others such as suppliers who work in a secure environment on projects rather than for broadcasting to people."
Earlier this week, Keysource director James Cole claimed that separate networks running on the same infrastructure could help to increase business management software users' uptimes.![]()
