Timesheet software should take into account flexible working

Timesheet software users should capitalise on the cost-effective benefits of flexible working arrangements.

Both employees as well as employers can take advantage of the many benefits provided by flexible working, suggested telecoms provider Orange.

Max Taylor, director of corporate marketing at Orange, pointed out that implementing flexible working was not expensive and only required to ensure that employees were equipped to work from home.

He said: "Allowing employees to work flexibly actually presents a significant opportunity for businesses to save money and improve employee morale."

Mr Taylor added that is was necessary for managers to be flexible in their approach and take into consideration the change in working practices.

His comments follow in the wake of recent research released by Orange which revealed that 53 per cent of fresh graduates were gearing up for flexible working arrangements at their workplace, while 69 per cent pointed out that it was important for them to be able to work flexibly.
