Assignment Edit Enhancements

Each user will now be able to define a list of Projects to select from within a drop-down list on the Assignment Edit page (for example a list of Projects which allow Direct Scheduled Assignments). This will allow the user to quickly and easily select the project against which they are creating an Assignment without the need to search for the project code. This saves significant time and effort by reducing the number of clicks required to select the Project for the Assignment.

The system will now automatically calculate the planned hours in an Assignment (same-day only) when a Start Time and End Time are entered. This will provide a more granular breakdown of planned effort enabling the Resource Manager to plan to a more detailed level.
