New Project Planning Enhancements

The July update of Atlantic Global OnDemand predominantly focuses on improvements to the Project Planning interface.

 New Project Plan Quick Edit View
By popular request we have now introduced a project plan quick edit view.  Built in a similar style to MS Project or Excel, users have the ability to edit multiple-project tasks on screen quickly and efficiently using only their keyboard. 

 Project Planning View interface enhacements
Major enhancements have been made to the Atlantic Global OnDemand traditional project planning view.  Project plans can now be generated with sub tasks meaning users can indent and outdent tasks in order to group them or to identify project phases.  In addition, users can now create Project lists to easily view multiple project plans in one screen, or to simply organise different projects into easy to use lists.  Enhancements have also been made to dependencies, the graphical representation has been improved on the project planning view to make it easier to view project dependencies.  A new setting has also been provided on individual projects to allow the system to operate like MS project.  Users can bind assignment dates to task dates, working in this way provides the end user with an additional option on the project planning view to calculate the critical path of the project.
