Contract Management and Billing Enhancements

The Advanced Contract Management and Billing functionality has received many enhancements to improve the billing process and visibility of Billing Data throughout the application.  In summary these enhancements include:

• New VAT Breakdown on Invoices
• Ability to specify the Client VAT Number and to display this on Invoices
• New Invoice Detail Totals
• Ability to add empty invoice lines to improve invoice formatting
• Ability to show units in the invoice details
• New “Use Contract Line Rate” Billing Rule

The most significant change is the ability to access billing data directly from the Project World Dashboard and User Dashboard.  From the Project World Dashboard users can access all of the Contracts associated with the selected project and view a breakdown of all Approved Time and Expenses which have not been invoiced along with a status breakdown of all of the underlying contract lines.  Users can also Create Billing Contracts, View Billing Contracts, View Invoices and Create Invoices directly from the dashboard.  From the user dashboard users can also see an overview of all of the billing contracts associated with their My Projects filter along with a summary of the invoiced and remaining contract value.
