Custom Report Writer Enhancements

In addition to the new Data Views, users now have more flexibility in defining each reports format in the Atlantic Global Solution.  In Version 4.1 users now have the ability to rename every column heading during the design stage.  This is ideal for shortening long field names to improve report layouts or to simply change the terminology to be more relevant to your organisation.  The calculated field types have been extended to include dates and text.  The Date Calculated field option is extremely useful for calculating the duration between two dates such as overdue task periods.  Text Calculated fields are also useful for translating numeric values into text or vice versa – for example % to Percent or a numeric threshold to a textual value.  In addition, wildcard searches can now be used in text based report filters, wildcard searches can be used on Contains and Begins With filters.  For example the % sign will return all values.
