New Project Planning Screen

Version 4.2 of the Atlantic Global Solution includes a major overhaul to the Project Planning functionality.  The existing Project Plan and Project Quick Entry Views will be replaced with a New Project Planning View which is focused on improving ease of use and performance.  The new Project Planning View will be available from the Planning Menu and will also be embedded into the Project Dashboard. In summary the New Project Planning View includes:

• A more intuitive graphical user interface
• Drag and Drop Task Creation
• Drag and Drop Task Rescheduling
• The ability to specify Task Constraints
• The ability to define Dependencies and Duration against a Task
• The ability to show Parent Tasks on the Task Edit page
• The ability to delete multiple assignments on the Project Plan screen
• The ability to change the Resource on multiple assignments on the Project Plan screen
• The ability to shift any assignments when rescheduling a task
• The removal of the ability to list multiple project plans in the Project Planning View
